Job summary
TMEIC is seeking a Technical Advisory Services engineer to coordinate installation and commissioning for assigned projects, ensuring schedules and performance criteria are met.
Responsibilities include commissioning AC/DC drive systems, tuning regulators, troubleshooting complex control systems, and designing system software/hardware to meet contractual requirements. Travel up to 75% is required to service international clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or related field.
- 2 years' experience commissioning power distribution, power electronics, and rotating machine products.
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% domestically and internationally.
- Proficiency in MS Office, programming language, and simulation tool.
Responsibilities
- Commission AC and DC drive systems and/or control software to meet design performance criteria.
- Tune up of closed loop regulators for optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and correct process application problems in complex control systems.
- Design, configure, and test system software and hardware to meet contractual requirements.
- Provide regular commissioning status reports to stakeholders.
- Lead client witness system acceptance tests when assigned.
- Recommend changes to commissioning procedures to improve performance.
- Train client personnel on system maintenance and operation.
- Plan and execute projects up to 9 months to support the department.
