Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a dynamic Transfer Pricing Manager to join our International Tax team in New York or Boston. You will lead and manage tax and transfer pricing engagements, guiding teams from planning through delivery while keeping projects on budget and on schedule.

The role requires a strong background in economics/accounting and a CPA/JD/EA certification, with at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting, business, finance, mathematics or statistics.
• CPA, JD, EA or alternate approved certification.
• Minimum five years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience.
• Experience in transfer pricing studies, financial analysis, valuations, econometrics and related areas.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and tax accounting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, tax software and transfer pricing tools.
• Excellent managerial, organizational, project management, analytical and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to local client sites.

Responsibilities

• Run client engagements from start to finish, planning, executing and completing projects within budget.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff on TP projects; perform in-charge roles when needed.
• Evaluate intercompany transfers and conduct financial and economic analyses for clients.
• Prepare and analyze financial/economic data for tax and regulatory compliance using MS Word, Excel and tools.
• Review and analyze GAAP financial statements.
• Interact with client management to gather information and advise on improvements.
• Assist in business development and go-to-market activities.
