Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Transaction Tax Manager to lead tax diligence, advisory, and project management for corporate and private equity transactions. You will develop tax strategies, manage risks from BEPS, and guide buy/sell side processes across multiple engagements.

You’ll lead workstreams, manage budgets, and collaborate with clients to identify tax risks and opportunities, delivering high-quality results while maintaining a global mindset and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• US CPA or member of US State bar.
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience.
• Data Visualization and Storytelling.

• Tax Attribute Management and Planning.
• Private Equity Transaction Actions.

• Serve as a member of and lead multiple client engagement teams.

Responsibilities

• In leading workstreams and tracking deliverable completion and project status.
• Active participation in client sessions and leading workstreams from planning to closure.
• Managing engagement economics and implementing resource plans and budgets.
• Identifying and analyzing tax risks and opportunities while advising on alternative tax strategies.
• Planning, executing, and integrating transaction strategies for clients.
