Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced Training Leader to mentor instructors, coordinate audits, and implement global standards across multiple training centers in the U.S. You will deliver training sessions, develop courseware, and liaise with local leaders to maintain high compliance and quality.

Ideal candidates bring ICAO ATPL/CPL or FAA/Part-FCL certificates with 3+ years in ATO/AOC settings, plus strong communication and cross-site coordination skills in a multinational aviation training

Qualifications

• Hold or have held ICAO ATPL or CPL license.
• As required by training centers and regulations, hold FAA instructor certificate or Part‑FCL certificate or 900(c) qualification.
• Minimum of three years delivering or managing instructor training in an ATO/AOC environment.
• Extensive experience training multi-pilot aircraft (MPA) pilots for licenses and ratings including MCC/CRM.
• Working knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Part‑FCL/ORA or FAA CFR Parts 61, 121,135, 142).
• Ability to liaison between local instructor teams and global standards leadership.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Manage responsibilities across multiple training centers including remote environments.
• Proficiency with MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring, performance oversight, and guidance for Instructors, Examiners, Tutors, Mentors, and Coaches.
• Coordinate, analyze, and follow up on audits and performance reviews for instructional quality and compliance.
• Champion global training standards by translating enterprise initiatives into local actions.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and implement global standards procedures at local sites.
• Observe and assess instructor pilot performance using IPPM/DOI; analyze results and advise on improvements.
• Deliver instructor training sessions in virtual and in-person formats and develop courseware.
• Serve as SME to support local instructors and align with global standardization policies.
• Coordinate governance activities and communicate with Local Training Standards Specialists and leaders.
• Support multiple training centers including remote leadership and cross-site collaboration.
