Qualifications

Two or more years of import/export trade consulting experience.
CPA, Attorney, EA or licensed customs broker preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.

Responsibilities

Researches, writes, and reviews international trade advice in Harmonized Tariff Schedule and regulations.
Researches U.S. and international import/export trade matters.
Formulates ideas and delivers possible trade savings opportunities.
Works with Firm specialists and client service teams on engagements.
Organizes and conducts internal CPE training in the area of specialization.
Establishes relationships with BDO customs experts across jurisdictions.
Identifies opportunities for drafting tax alerts in international trade matters.
Assists in managing client expectations.
Other duties as required.
