Job summary

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) in Wichita, KS is hiring a Trade Settlement Analyst to join our Trade Settlements team. You will execute end-to-end settlement activities, analyze large data sets, and partner with commercial, operations, technology, and finance to resolve issues and drive improvements.

You will leverage Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft 365 to streamline workflows, support month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, settlements, operations, or analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience reconciling, validating, or investigating discrepancies in financial or transactional data.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end trade settlement activities, including invoice generation, validation, payment processing, journal entries, and exception resolution.
• Monitor settlement workflows to identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation breaks, process exceptions, and system-related issues.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and month-end/year-end close activities, including accruals and audit support.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, quantify risks, and support value creation opportunities.
• Partner with commercial, operational, technology, and finance teams to resolve settlement issues and improve processes.
• Leverage digital tools, analytics, and automation to streamline the settlement function.
• Drive continuous improvement by challenging the status quo and implementing sustainable solutions.
