Qualifications

• J.D. and current bar membership.
• 15+ years of law firm or combined in-house and law firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise on export controls (ITAR/EAR), import matters and sanctions.
• Conduct company-wide import/export/sanctions/anti-corruption training and update manuals.
• Audit trade compliance with AMETEK Law Department personnel.
• Prepare responses to subpoenas on compliance matters.
• Prepare and file voluntary disclosures related to import/export/sanctions.
• Implement and manage trade screening tools.
• Assist due diligence for mergers and acquisitions in trade compliance.
• Collaborate with Law Department to review manuals and negotiate export/import provisions in agreements.
