Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a Trade & Customs Compliance Specialist to strengthen import compliance operations, classify products, evaluate regulatory obligations, and manage duties and tariffs. You will guide internal teams, coordinate with external partners, and support audits while driving process improvements.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication across multi-disciplinary teams, and a solid background in U.S.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve customs entry challenges and clearance hurdles
• Submit supplementary documents to meet regulatory standards
• Update and maintain product database for accurate PO and item maintenance
• Perform routine compliance reviews, post-entry amendments, and secure applicable refunds
• Oversee recordkeeping and audits related to supply chain security programs
• Contribute to import compliance guidelines, procedures, and materials
• Identify process improvements and roll out enhancements
• Deliver training sessions and create practical compliance tools
• Handle administrative tasks for the department (data, files, logs)
• Assign tariff classifications (HTS codes) and calculate duty rates
• Administer duty preference programs and seek ways to reduce duty costs
• Review import data for regulatory adherence and prepare KPI reports
• Lead responses to inquiries from U.S. Customs or other agencies
• Serve as go-to resource for trade compliance questions and research regulations
• Partner on cross-functional initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain consistent attendance at designated work location
