Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in import/export operations or trade compliance.
• CCS certification is a plus.
• Experience with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international logistics providers.
• Knowledge of US import/export regulations, filing procedures, and trade documentation.

Responsibilities

• Generate and validate import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Verify classifications, country of origin, authorization requirements, and declared values.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders for accurate filings and declarations.
• Review entry summaries and supporting documents for compliance with import regulations.
• Prepare or review export filings (AES/EEI).
• Ensure shipping documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and customer commitments.
• Build and maintain complete, accurate import/export records for regulatory needs.
• Respond to customer requests for trade compliance information.
• Support internal/external audits and broker communications.
• Perform restricted party screening and cross-team collaboration to improve procedures.
