Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a seasoned Trade Compliance Program Manager to lead import, export, and FTZ compliance across the enterprise. You will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and sales to navigate complex trade rules and strengthen controls.

Responsibilities include policy development, regulatory monitoring, and training to ensure audit readiness and smooth cross-border operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in import/export compliance or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. import regulations, export controls, HTS, Schedule B, ECCN.
• Experience with CBP, brokers, freight forwarders, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with trade systems and MS Excel; QuestaWeb and Syteline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide import, export, CTPAT, tariff, and FTZ compliance programs.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, controls, and training materials.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update procedures and systems accordingly.
• Oversee import documentation, classification, tariff applications, and recordkeeping.
• Manage export filings, licensing assessments, and ECCN classification.
• Administer denied party screening and supply chain security (CTPAT).
• Coordinate with CBP, customs brokers, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Deliver training to ensure consistency and audit readiness.
