Job summary

Brooks Utility Products in Atlanta hybrid office is seeking a Trade Compliance and Logistics Analyst to manage compliant, cost-effective movement of goods into the US and Canada. You will own HTS classification, origin determination, and entry accuracy as importer of record, coordinating with brokers and carriers to improve landed cost.

This role sits at the intersection of compliance and commercial performance, protecting the company from duty exposure while identifying savings in duty,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in trade compliance or international logistics.
• Hands-on experience with U.S. CBP and Canadian CBSA import requirements including HTS, valuation, and entry review.
• Strong Excel and quantitative skills; ability to build landed cost and burden calculations.
• Experience managing freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers; rate negotiation.
• Ability to document decisions for audits and maintain master data at scale.

Responsibilities

• Classify, origin, and product data; maintain HTS master database and 100% SKU coverage.
• Apply valuation methodologies and review CBP/CAD filings for accuracy.
• Reconcile invoices vs. PO values; investigate variances and escalations.
• Audit entry data using ACE, broker portals, and reporting; monitor policy compliance.
• Track tariff actions, model landed-cost impacts, and support duty recovery filings.
• Coordinate import/export compliance for repair, warranty, and returns; manage documentation.
