Job summary

Brightstar Lottery is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead the global import and export compliance program, acting as the company’s expert on customs and trade matters. This hands-on role analyzes transactions, broker filings, classifications, and documentation to strengthen compliance and operational execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field is required.
• Experience in global trade compliance with U.S. and international markets.
• Strong knowledge of HTS, origin rules, duties/tariffs, and free trade agreements.
• Experience developing SOPs, controls, and process improvements.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for management updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead Brightstar’s Global Import and Export compliance program across multiple regions.
• Ensure cross-border movements comply with CBP, CBSA, SAT, EU Customs, etc.
• Maintain Trade Compliance Policy, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Serve as internal subject matter expert on customs requirements and duties.
• Own HTS classifications and seek duty savings and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee broker filings, documentation quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on special classifications, complex transactions, and temporary imports.
• Identify and mitigate trade compliance risk across the global supply chain.
