Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of export compliance experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC regulations.
• Experience classifying exports/imports and reviewing letters of credit.

Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. Export Compliance Program and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Finance.
• Maintain ECCN/Schedule B classifications and submit BIS requests as needed.
• Oversee import compliance activities, HTS classification, origin determinations, and broker coordination.
• Lead daily import/export operations and supervise the Import/Export team.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, brokers, and logistics providers.
• Review draft letters of credit and coordinate required documents for payment.
• Develop and deliver trade compliance training and inform leadership of regulatory changes.
