Job summary

Swagelok, Northeast Ohio, Solon, is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst to apply international trade and customs compliance expertise across global supply chain operations. The role focuses on risk assessment, policy implementation, and collaboration with U.S. Customs authorities and distribution partners.

You will analyze large datasets, build insightful visuals in Excel or Power BI, and lead audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to safeguard regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or logistics.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in supply chain, logistics, analytics, auditing or compliance.
• Ability to interpret trade regulations and apply them to global operations.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply U.S. and international trade regulations to ensure compliance.
• Manage import compliance programs, tariff classifications, origin determinations, and FTAs.
• Lead trade compliance audits, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and logistics to support decisions.
• Analyze ERP data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop and deliver trade compliance training and guidance.
• Oversee export licenses with BIS and coordinate with distributors and counsel.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support global distribution and cost analyses.
