Job summary

Okuma America Corporation is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support import/export compliance programs, classification processes, and export controls. You will help ensure products move efficiently across global markets while minimizing risk and supporting customer service.

The role also supports QMS activities and corporate reporting, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience with import/export operations, customs compliance, or trade regulations preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

Support import/export compliance program aligning with U.S. customs and international trade regulations.
Classify products using HTS, ECCN, Schedule B and other trade requirements.
Coordinate with customs brokers and stakeholders to ensure compliant documentation.
