Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Director of Trade Compliance to lead the enterprise-wide strategy, governance, and execution for global trade compliance and FTZ operations. The role partners with Finance, Tax, Sourcing, Transportation, Planning, International, Franchise, and Wholesale to balance compliance with commercial agility and growth. Hybrid work in New Albany, OH is offered, with a focus on analytics and automation to optimize landed cost and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in global trade compliance.
Deep global trade compliance expertise including U.S. import regulations, HTS classification, tariff strategy, FTZ operations, broker management, audit and controls.
Experience in retail/apparel or high-volume global supply chain environments.
Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide compliance programs and influence executives.
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into business solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the company's global trade compliance strategy, governance framework, and operating model.
Advise executive leadership on trade risks, regulatory developments, and sourcing impacts.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on sourcing and supply chain risk; provide timely recommendations.
Oversee FTZ operations, recordkeeping, broker management, and post-entry compliance.
Lead analytics, automation, and continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
