Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in trade compliance, export controls, and sanctions.
• Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC sanctions, and EU/UK regimes.
• Exceptional drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate trade compliance provisions in agreements.
• Advise on screening processes against restricted lists.
• Evaluate outbound payments involving higher-risk jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance on trade and sanctions laws.
• Advise on deemed export and re-export controls.
• Coordinate responses to KYC and due diligence questionnaires.
• Apply export regulations to business operations.
• Advise on economic sanctions and embargoes.
• Resolve complex trade compliance issues.
