Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in trade compliance, export controls or sanctions.
• Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR and OFAC sanctions regimes.
• Experience with screening tools and internal controls.
• Proven ability to draft clear, risk-aware guidance and memos.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate trade compliance provisions in agreements.
• Advise on screening against restricted and denied party lists.
• Evaluate outbound payments for high-risk jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance on U.S., EU, and UK trade laws and sanctions.
• Advise on EAR/ITAR controls and licensing considerations.
• Coordinate KYC and due diligence questionnaires with counterparties.
• Interpret EAR/ITAR in business operations and transactions.
• Escalate issues and coordinate with stakeholders as needed.
