You will advise clients on complex trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, customs issues, and regulatory compliance in a sophisticated cross-border setting.

The role demands a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar admission in good standing, and 2–4 years of international trade experience.

Qualifications

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
Active DC Bar in good standing.
2-4 years of substantive international trade experience.
Experience counseling on U.S. international trade regulatory issues.
Experience with trade remedy matters (AD and CVD).
Litigation before U.S. trade agencies and the IT Court.
Advising on OFAC sanctions, EAR, BIS export controls.
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team; large firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance.
Counsel on U.S. trade remedy laws, including AD/CVD proceedings.
Represent clients before government agencies and the IT Court.
Provide strategic advice on sanctions, export controls, and cross-border regulations.
Develop compliance programs for international trade regulations.
Monitor developments in trade policy, sanctions, and export control regimes.
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas.
