The role emphasizes hard goods product development, importing knowledge, and collaboration with Sales, Studio, and Product teams to bring toys to life from concept to production.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years buying with direct overseas manufacturing relationships.
• Hard goods product development experience, ideally toys/consumer products.
• Proven track record negotiating pricing, tooling and production terms with Chinese manufacturers.
• Experience with importing, container fills, freight logistics, and customs processes.
• Strong understanding of landed cost pricing and its margin impact.

Aufgaben

• Manage and grow direct factory relationships in China.
• Negotiate pricing with overseas manufacturers to hit target cost and margin.
• Oversee end-to-end PO lifecycle for assigned categories.
• Collaborate with factories on product development from concept to production.
• Manage importing logistics, container fills, and shipping optimization.
• Calculate and manage landed cost pricing for margin analysis.
• Review samples, tooling, and artwork for approvals.
• Track production timelines and critical milestones.
• Prepare margin analyses and purchasing reports.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Sales, Studio, and Product.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
