Qualifications

  • A recognized first-level degree is required.
  • Experience public speaking and engaging diverse audiences in a customer service environment within an international organization is required.
  • Experience conducting official tours for children and younger audiences is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-hour lecture tours on UN work and history for diverse visitors.
  • Participate in daily and special briefings on UN topics.
  • Study UN materials in English to stay current on UN activities.
  • Tailor language and information to different audiences and handle sensitive questions diplomatically.
  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch tours daily to ensure smooth operations.
  • Distribute workload fairly among PIAs and monitor attendance and punctuality.
  • Adjust the daily plan on short notice and report issues to supervisors.
  • Prepare and conduct daily morning briefings on UN activities when required.
