Actalent is seeking a Head of Telecom Engineering to lead the global telecom practice, shaping strategy, governance, and delivery across OSP, FTTx, fiber, and permitting.

The role drives multi-year capability development, client-focused execution, and cross-functional alignment with sales, solutioning, and finance to deliver scalable, high-impact engineering services. This executive position requires deep telecom leadership and strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, construction management or related field.
• 15+ years of telecom engineering experience with leadership of multi-program teams.
• Experience scaling OSP/FTTx and leading distributed delivery teams.
• Strong commercial, financial, customer-facing, and organizational-change skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute telecom engineering strategy aligned with growth priorities.
• Build a multi-year capability roadmap across OSP, FTTx, fiber and permitting.
• Translate market needs into differentiated, repeatable engineering offerings.
• Establish an operating model integrating sales, delivery, quality, and finance.
