Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a Senior Technical Customer Support Specialist to support multinational accounts and key development teams. You will provide technical assistance related to West's products, processes and services, and help identify and close opportunities while coordinating projects across functions.

The role requires a technical degree, at least 5 years in pharma/medical devices, and strong communication, analytical and project management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Engineering/Pharmacy/Chemistry/Biology or equivalent) required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Experience in technical support, technical sales/applications, analytical laboratory, R&D or engineering-related role.
Customer-facing experience is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discussions with customers on drug-closure compatibility, packaging, and test requirements.
Act as the technical interface between customers and internal West functions; support market strategies.
Identify industry trends and conduct technical studies to support reports, bulletins and literature.
Promote West products through technical presentations, seminars, and customer education.
Coordinate with QA and operations on change controls and customer technical aspects.
