Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 2+ years in connector industry preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawings
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to management at various levels
• Ability to manage customer communication and expectations
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Responsibilities

• Manage the project, project team, scope and objectives; ensure steps are completed.
• Provide communication interface to customer for status, schedule, requirements.
• Lead project teams across multiple sites through product development.
• Schedule and run internal meetings to address actions and keep on schedule.
• Coordinate internal and external suppliers for timely action completion.
• Notify management on resource requirements to stay on schedule.
• Define product specs and scope aligned with market and customer needs.
• Ensure financial objectives: capital requests, product costing, scope creep.
• Make decisions to speed up time to market, volume and profitability.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability principles during development.
• Plan capacity across project phases to meet demand.
• Provide regular project updates to functional management.
• Set up systems for ordering/manufacturing of products.
• Develop risk reduction strategies to maintain objectives and schedules.
