Job summary

Foxconn in San Jose, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineering Technical Program Manager to lead and support hardware and firmware projects from concept through mass production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure timely delivery and conformance to requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Computer Engineering (MS preferred) and 0–7 years of x86 hardware/embedded software experience, with English proficiency and Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Computer Engineering; MS a plus.
• 0–7 years of x86 hardware/embedded uPs and firmware/software experience.
• English proficiency required; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct support customers on Server/Storage/Appliance projects, in embedded and computer hardware or firmware/software TPM from concept to mass production.
• As Front End interface, provide engineering service for new product development and deliverables, managing meetings and tracking design/validation issues and solutions.
• Back End interface with design/test/validation, manufacturing/operations teams to meet customer needs during all NP I phases.
• On-site debug/meetings at customer sites; track issues found by customers and coordinate with local team to guide back-end RD and manufacturing to resolve.
• Travel internationally to Taiwan and possibly other Foxconn sites for on-site support.
