Job summary

AMD, based in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead international infrastructure design and development for electronics R&D lab implementations and multi-generation product lines.

You will manage the design, permitting, and construction through established processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align budget, scope, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project or construction management experience in a high-tech environment.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and interfacing with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects.
• Familiarity with MEP concepts and building codes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations.
• Lead cross-functional teams across facilities and project scopes.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and procurement plans; secure approvals.
• Review drawings, change orders, and invoices; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Report progress and risks to management.
