Job summary

iHerb Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager in Irvine, CA to lead indirect tax reporting, compliance, and planning. You will support month-end close activities and serve as the main liaison with external tax advisors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all filings.

The role requires seven years of income and/or sales tax experience, CPA, and a strong background with tax engines like Avalara or Vertex. You will drive tax automation and maintain the tax calendar and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end preparation and filing of state, local, and international indirect tax returns.
• Serve as primary contact for external tax preparers and ensure filings meet deadlines.
• Prepare and review US and foreign indirect tax filings and reconciliations.
• Review monthly reconciliations of tax accounts in the GL.
