8x8 is seeking a Tax Director to lead the global tax provision and compliance from a remote US location. The role focuses on ASC 740, current and deferred taxes, and ETR, with oversight of outsourced providers for US federal/state returns.

The candidate should have 15+ years in corporate income tax, US federal/state tax experience, and strong SOX documentation practices. International tax and M&A support are key components of the position.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of corporate income tax experience.
• Hands-on US federal and state tax compliance experience.
• US international tax experience (GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT).
• Experience supporting/leading income tax examinations.
• Public company reporting with SOX documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the global tax provision: ASC 740, current and deferred taxes, ETR, and disclosures.
• Manage US federal/state compliance with outsourced preparers.
• Manage US tax audits and support foreign audits.
• Assist with global tax planning and reporting (EMEA & APAC).
• Support M&A initiatives and Pillar Two readiness.
