Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior corporate tax leader to own the worldwide income tax provision and related processes in a fast-paced software environment. You will manage tax accounting, disclosures, and SOX controls while coordinating with the audit firm and finance leadership.

The role emphasizes hands-on ASC 740 ownership, M&A tax diligence, and mentoring a growing tax team. A CPA with advanced taxation credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience managing a corporate tax function in a multinational software and technology industry.
• Hands-on experience running income tax provision and compliance processes.
• Combination of Big 4 public accounting and in-house tax department experience.
• Full ownership of the ASC 740 provision cycle at a multinational company, including deferred taxes and disclosures.
• Experience managing US federal and state income tax compliance programs at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision, including current and deferred computations.
• Own tax journal entries, account reconciliations, income tax footnotes and disclosures, supporting workpapers, and SOX controls.
• Manage the financial statement audit relationship with Big 4 auditors.
• Coordinate international provision components with the team and outside advisors.
• Drive automation and tax technology adoption, including AI tooling.
• Lead tax diligence, structuring, and integration for acquisitions.
