Job summary

Sixth Street is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Tax Compliance and Reporting Team in Dallas. You will manage annual and quarterly tax reporting processes, coordinating with external providers and the Core platform to ensure accurate, timely tax obligations across Sixth Street funds and businesses.

You will lead global tax filings, advise on income, sales, VAT, payroll, and other taxes, and collaborate with Accounting on cash matters. CPA or attorney license required, with 5+ years in U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years U.S. tax experience with focus on partnership taxation and reporting.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment funds and related structures.
• Licensed CPA or attorney required.

Responsibilities

• Manage external tax service providers to produce annual and estimated investor Schedules K-1.
• Oversee global tax filings including fund and platform returns (federal, foreign, state/local).
• Collaborate with Finance on tax liabilities, estimated payments, and withholding.
• Develop training and guidance on tax reporting for the Core platform.
