Job summary

Rapid7 is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Global Tax team. The role focuses on accuracy and compliance of global tax obligations, ASC 740, SEC reporting, and international tax filings. You will work with external advisors and internal finance teams to optimize tax outcomes across entities.

The position emphasizes collaboration with FP&A and auditors, BEPS considerations, and timely tax provisions. A CPA or equivalent and 6+ years of corporate tax experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive corporate tax experience.
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency with OneSource Tax Provision or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external tax advisors on ASC 740 provision calculations using OneSource Tax Provision.
• Support preparation of tax disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
• Perform detailed reconciliations of tax accounts to ensure ASC 740 and SEC compliance.
• Partner with FP&A to improve PBT forecasting across legal entities.
• Review international income tax returns and GAAP-to-statutory differences.
• Conduct cash tax reconciliations including payments, refunds, and estimated taxes.
• Ensure accurate tax journal entries and documentation for tax provision processes.
