Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Tax Accounting to lead the global tax accounting function. You will oversee projections, quarterly and year-end tax provision, and effective tax rate analyses under US GAAP (ASC 740), while mentoring the team and driving process improvements.

The role collaborates with Finance leadership, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and external advisors, shaping strategic initiatives and ensuring compliance across the global tax function.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 6–8+ years of tax experience; 3–4 years in tax accounting-focused roles; supervisory experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead the preparation and review of projections and quarterly/year-end tax provision reporting under US GAAP (ASC 740).
• Develop and mentor team members; drive process improvements and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and global tax teams.
• Provide technical guidance on tax accounting matters including SOX controls and process documentation.
• Monitor changes in US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and tax laws impacting tax positions.
