Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Talent Sourcing Associate to identify, engage, and attract top talent for executive and niche roles worldwide. You will partner with executive recruiters, the Knowledge Manager, and hiring teams to develop pipelines and implement advanced sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities include researching and contacting passive candidates, screening for fit, and managing multiple complex projects with tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to build credibility and partnerships with recruiters, candidates, and senior leaders.
• 3+ years experience with applicant tracking systems, reporting and analytics.
• Experience in sourcing calls, phone screens, and reference checks.
• Advanced internet research and social media sourcing (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
• Knowledge of targeted candidate identification techniques (Boolean search, etc.).
• Experience coordinating and leading projects and posting jobs online.

Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters to develop hiring pipelines and priorities.
• Become a subject matter expert for recruitment needs globally and cross-functionally.
• Conduct research and deliver results with minimal supervision on multiple projects.
• Use creative sourcing techniques to identify top talent for niche roles.
• Manage client- and candidate-facing tasks, including calls, prep/debriefs, screens, and references.
• Build relationships and source key talent via networks, LinkedIn, job boards, and universities.
• Track prospects and applicants using CRM and ATS systems; produce status reports.
• Identify high-potential profiles and present to recruiters.
• Schedule and facilitate candidate interviews and share prep materials.
• Attend online networking events to learn new sourcing tools and techniques.
• Help train field staff in sourcing tools and recruiting techniques.
