Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading enterprise-wide talent development and organizational design solutions. Key responsibilities include supporting senior business leaders to identify strategies directly linked to organizational goals and implementing leadership solutions across the business. The role involves partnering with Global Talent, Global Human Resources (GHR), business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and vendors to execute enterprise talent processes and provide consultative support for designing, developing, and implementing talent development initiatives.

This Talent Consultant II will join the Global Corporate & Investment Banking Talent Team to develop leadership, learning, organizational effectiveness, and talent management solutions in partnership with HR Executives and Generalists. Key focus areas include Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Performance Management.

The Talent Consultant II will report to CEO-level leaders within the organization and will be responsible for achieving key business outcomes through impactful consultation and organizational development skills. The successful candidate will be an influential, results-oriented professional capable of building and managing relationships across the company based on trust, knowledge, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and HR leaders to design and deliver talent management strategies and development plans that ensure effective succession planning and a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Lead, design, and implement key leadership development processes and HR initiatives such as talent and succession planning, performance management, organizational design, manager development, 360 feedback, and program nominations.
  • Execute talent management strategies and organizational design across various levels while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Provide consultative support and coaching to leaders to promote and develop diverse, top talent.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to maximize business and enterprise outcomes through strategic talent solutions.
  • Collaborate with control functions (e.g., Communications, Legal, Risk, Compliance) to mitigate people risks and communicate talent processes effectively.
  • Drive learning strategies and programs for client organizations, working with learning consultants and internal resources.
  • Consult on organizational change, including assessing operating models, proposing organizational designs, and preparing communication plans.
  • Serve as an advisor for horizontal initiatives across the organization, working with HR to provide guidance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years' experience in Learning/Program Development, Leadership Development, Organization Development, Change Management, or HR Generalist roles.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders globally.
  • Experience working with seasoned leaders at the MTM 1 and/or 2 levels.
  • Conceptual thinking with effective program and project management skills, including translating strategy into actionable goals.
  • Excellent judgment and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to build positive relationships with peers, partners, and clients.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with changing priorities.
  • Strong bias for action and drive for results.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
