Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a supply chain professional to design and execute global supply plans, optimize inbound fulfillment, and own inventory decisions in line with Weeks of Supply. You will partner with global hub operations and supplier management to mitigate shortages and E&O risks.

The role requires 5+ years in materials management, supplier relationship management, or supply/demand planning, with strong data analytics and manufacturing process knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Materials Management, Supplier Relationship Management, and/or Supply/Demand Planning.
• Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Experience with data analysis, data analytics, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end global supply plans for related commodities
• Partner with global hub operations to optimize inbound fulfillment modes
• Own the inventory decision-making process aligning with Cisco’s 'Weeks of Supply' (WOS) strategy
• Proactively identify and resolve component shortages through agile communication
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to manage and mitigate Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) risks
• Cultivate partnerships with Global Supplier Management (SuCM) and external vendors
• Lead commodity supply response to volatile industry transitions
• Drive alignment across extended partner teams to ensure synchronized approaches
