Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Global Supply Manager, Programs & Production, to lead supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, and availability of critical components for aerospace, defense, and automotive programs. The role covers sourcing, supplier management, and day-to-day procurement in a fast-moving environment where BOMs and demand change frequently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or supply chain experience within program-driven manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing outside processes and processors (machining, heat treatment, finishing, coatings, NDT).
• Experience using ERP/MRP, PLM, procurement systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Arena, Windchill) and advanced Excel.
• Ability to operate effectively where systems and processes are still being developed; build practical tools and workflows.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience managing supplier agreements, lead times, and cost/risk.

Responsibilities

• Act as the sourcing point of contact for assigned programs from development builds to full-rate production.
• Translate BOMs, build schedules, and demand into procurement plans; adjust as designs and schedules change.
• Manage engineering changes and BOM revisions; assess impact on cost, lead time, orders, and inventory.
• Own shortage management; identify shortages early and develop recovery plans.
• Track part readiness for build events and maintain visibility of material status.
• Help build scalable tracking tools and transition them into system-based processes.
• Lead supplier capacity and readiness discussions with cross-functional partners.
• Lead sourcing strategy for complex program requirements; balance cost, quality, and delivery.
