Job summary

Boom Supersonic is seeking a Global Supply Manager to own end-to-end sourcing for metals, precision machined parts, and electronics. You'\'ll lead RFx cycles, evaluate supplier responses, and negotiate terms to align with Boom's ramp to production.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to develop commodity strategies, manage supplier relationships, and monitor performance with scorecards. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or product development.
• Understanding of costing concepts, cost reduction, and modeling.
• Excellent data-driven decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams to drive alignment and execute sourcing strategies.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end RFx cycle, including identifying strong suppliers, preparing and issuing RFQ(s) to potential manufacturing and supply partners; performing thorough analysis and evaluation of responses; executing supplier capability assessments, driving negotiations for optimal terms; advocating a path and securing internal approvals; and nominating the selected partner(s) that meet Boom's strategic objectives.
