Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. in Farmington Hills, MI seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to act as the critical liaison between international suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers, driving end-to-end supply chain excellence.

You will oversee documentation, forecasting, procurement, and performance monitoring to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and data-driven decisions across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, logistics or related field is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in business, administration, logistics, or supply chain preferred.
• Critical thinking, judgment and decision making, and transportation knowledge are important capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage outbound shipment documentation workflows, cross-border transfers, and regulatory compliance per established procedures.
• Monitor shipment performance, on-time delivery, and SLAs; take corrective action as needed.
• Handle purchase orders and planning docs for materials and finished goods; manage inventories to avoid aged stock.
• Ensure forecast accuracy and alignment between customer forecasts and orders to protect working capital.
• Support commercial activities by evaluating demand and negotiating with suppliers to optimize cost, quality and delivery.
