Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Annapolis, MD seeks a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to manage on-time release, PO placements, and delivery dates to sustain program schedules. You will oversee material budgets, baselining/EVMS, and forecast cost/performance for assigned programs, with up to 10% travel. U.S.

Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant experience, SAP/ERP exposure, and strong business acumen in a fast-paced defense

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master’s with 3+ years.

Responsibilities

Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
Manage material budget for contract requirements and baselining/EVMS requirements.
Forecast material cost/performance using Cognos, CMEs, IPRS.
Identify and manage program risks and opportunities related to material requirements.
Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
Monitor supplier capacity and production issues.
Operate in fast-paced production environment with leading-edge suppliers.
