Job summary

Applied Materials in Santa Clara is seeking a New College Grad for a 30-month Supply Chain MBA Development Rotational Program spanning Purchasing, Project Management, and Supplier Account Management. You will rotate across multiple functions to develop technical and business skills.

Candidates should have an MBA in Supply Chain Management with a technical undergrad, strong data analytics, ERP exposure, and coursework in Six Sigma or APICS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 30‑month rotational program across Purchasing/Sourcing, Project/Program Management, and Supplier Account Management.
• MBA in Supply Chain Management with technical undergrad is required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred on 4.0 scale.
• ERP technology exposure required; hands-on preferred.
• Data analytics experience; ability to analyze multiple data sets for decision making.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawing specifications to source parts aligning with sourcing strategy.
• Certifications: Six sigma green belt, APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP a plus.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset in a results‑driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Issuing RFQs, analyzing proposals, negotiating prices and delivering orders for New Product Integration/Commercialization.
• Developing sourcing strategies to minimize cost while ensuring quality and reliability.
• Forecasting and communicating engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Coordinating demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Collaborating with engineering to interpret requirements and drive supplier capability.
• Managing supplier price and delivery negotiations and supplier risk assessment.
