Job summary

The Boeing Company in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Supply Chain Integration & Obsolescence Manager to lead a team supporting Vertical Lift government platforms. You will oversee supply chain integration and obsolescence efforts, align with customers and stakeholders, and drive programs to improve aircraft availability and mission readiness.

This role requires extensive leadership in supplier management, risk and opportunity management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• This manager position requires you to have leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience).
• 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
• 3+ years of experience with risk, issue and opportunity management to drive performance.
• 5+ years of experience building relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines.
• 5+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams.
• 3+ years of experience performing Schedule Executability Risk Assessments and reporting recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Oversees and approves technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.
