Honda is seeking a detail-oriented procurement associate to support manufacturing supply chain by sourcing parts, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will interface with Trade Compliance, Accounting apps (PLEX, SAP), and use data analysis to optimize inventory and costs.

You will lead negotiations, monitor quotes, update budgets, and contribute to continuous improvement and KPI tracking. Strong communication, MS Excel, and project management skills are essential.

Formación

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Or 2-4 years manufacturing supply chain work experience; purchasing, inventory analysis, management, procurement or supply logistics.
• Strong data calculation & analysis skills.
• Microsoft suite proficiency (Excel, word, ppt).
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Basic supply chain principles familiarity (Incoterms, USMCA, International trade).
• People management & development skills.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, monitor, and execute purchase orders, manage and analyze inventory levels, coordinate multiple supply chains via multiple transportation modes for on-time delivery to customers.
• Modify pricing in systems to match quotations with customers and support supply chain issue resolution.
• Coordinate regular meetings with customers/suppliers to build relationships and promote Honda HTA solutions.
• Support account growth by proposing supply chain improvements and cost savings.
• Update quotes based on material and exchange rate changes.
• Lead negotiations on supply routing, expedite needs and problem resolution.
• Perform monthly variance analysis on account sales activity.
• Create account budgets and quarterly updates for sales targets.
• Assist onboarding for new projects and ensure hand-offs meet criteria.
• Review processes and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support mid-term and annual targets with sales strategy actions.
• Set and measure KPI targets for suppliers and vendors.
