Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to partner with global manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams to improve supplier performance and drive quality across the supply chain. You will lead supplier reviews, track FAI, support qualification, and resolve quality issues while promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting supplier quality, manufacturing, or supplier development activities.
• Ability to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Expertise in PCBAs and motors manufacturing and test processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplier quality leadership and project management to drive performance.
• Lead pre-technical and technical reviews with suppliers and track FAI data.
• Support Supplier Qualification and approve new suppliers.
• Verify effectiveness of CARs and monitor supplier scorecards.
• Conduct supplier process audits and apply statistical quality tools.
• Review FAI documentation and communicate feedback to suppliers.
• Drive improvements across existing and new suppliers and train on Emerson's quality requirements.
