Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier quality, delivery, and performance across the Aeroderivative Engine Operations Industrialization supply chain. You will evaluate supplier capability, conduct audits, monitor performance, and drive improvements with suppliers.

This role requires onsite support and up to 20% travel, collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, planning, and NPI/Management of Change teams, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience or equivalent.
• 4+ years in quality systems or supplier quality.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and development for Aeroderivative operations.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess quality compliance with standards.
• Evaluate supplier performance using quality metrics and scorecards.
• Drive corrective actions and sustainable improvements in quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and manage supplier action plans and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and quality teams.
• Provide technical and quality guidance on manufacturing processes and compliance.
