Job summary

Bloom Energy seeks a Sr. Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality excellence in a fully on-site Fremont, CA role. You will guide supplier selection, risk mitigation, and quality systems development to support Bloom Energy’s ambitious manufacturing goals.

You will apply advanced statistical methods, DFMEA/PFMEA, and Lean Six Sigma to ensure robust quality across the product lifecycle, from design through production and field performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in supplier/ manufacturing quality leadership.
• Expert in APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans.
• Proven ability to influence executives and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier engagement and development to improve capability and quality across the supply base.
• Evaluate and approve suppliers for advanced manufacturing technologies and critical components.
• Develop supplier capability roadmaps aligned with Bloom Energy’s objectives.
• Drive supplier quality governance across global suppliers and sub‑tiers.
