Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or applied sciences with 8 years of experience; or 6 years and a Master’s; or a Ph.D with 3 years.
• At least 5 years of working in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry with global suppliers.
• Familiarity with semiconductors, electrical equipment, or high-technology supply chain management practices, standards, and organizations.
• Strong business acumen, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate with various levels and roles.
• Technical understanding of electro‑mechanical assemblies, manufacturing processes, and OEM components.
• Proven experience of strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with history of successful resolution.

Responsibilities

• Defines supplier performance metrics and monitors scorecards to ensure continuous improvement.
• Drives procurement process improvements and inventory strategies (e.g., JIT, Kanban, min/max) with suppliers.
• Motivates and improves supplier manufacturing processes for quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Manages governance controls for factory management and supply chain processes.
• Sets goals with suppliers to ensure delivery meets forecasted demand.
• Represents supplier business management on cross-functional teams to address supply challenges.
• Keeps current on industry trends via contacts, reports, and journals.
• Collaborates with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex delivery issues.
• Develops presentations and process flow charts to support improvement projects.
• Monitors product costs to prevent negative PPV and support cost reductions.
