Job summary

The ideal candidate has a BS/Engineering, strong English, and extensive knowledge of STA Quality tools, APQP/PPAP, and model launch processes. Travel up to 75% may be required across US/Canada/Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Be proficient in English when working with global teams.
• Knowledge of STA Quality tools and systems.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and model launch tools.
• Ability to present leadership materials on short notice.
• Ability to resolve on-site manufacturing/quality issues with suppliers.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% in US/Canada/Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Train suppliers and cross functional teams on the Supplier Engagement Process and APQP/PPAP readiness.
• Manage and track on-time completion of GPDS priority supplier evaluations.
• Track PPAP/Schedule A status and submission requirements to Site STA Organization and Supply Base.
• Represent and advocate for suppliers in Cross-Functional Meetings.
