Job summary

3M is seeking a Sub-Platform Quality Manager - Semiconductor to lead quality strategy across product development, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers. You will drive enterprise quality governance, establish scalable QMS, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve reliability, yield, and customer satisfaction.

You will own quality leadership for NPI, establish reliability strategies, and coordinate cross-site quality initiatives to reduce defects and ensure product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Five years of progressive quality, engineering, manufacturing, or reliability experience.
• Two years of experience in semiconductor, microelectronics, electronics or advanced manufacturing.
• One year of experience in Quality Leadership or Management role, preferably multi-site or global.
• Master's degree in engineering, Quality, Business, or related discipline (nice to have).
• ASQ CQE, CMQ/OE, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience leading NPI/product quality programs.
• Strong experience with supplier quality and/or customer quality management.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, assembly, packaging, testing, or related processes.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
• ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 or other quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction and effectiveness of the global Quality Management System.
• Lead multi-site quality initiatives and governance across sites.
• Drive quality as a business differentiator with supplier and customer quality programs.
• Oversee NPI quality and product qualification processes.
• Lead risk management and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
• Provide executive-level visibility into quality performance and risks.
