Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Global Study Manager (Oncology and/or Multi-TA) to lead global clinical trials from sourcing strategy to database release. You will oversee study management, site coordination, and vendor activities, partnering with cross-functional teams to meet milestones and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, independence, and a track record in study management, with responsibility for budgets, timelines, and inspection readiness across sponsor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a scientific/technical field.
• 7+ years of clinical research or study management experience.
• Experience overseeing CROs/vendors and budgets.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
• Experience with budgeting, per-subject costs, and spend projections.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project and program management activities.
• Form, oversee and lead operational sub teams; coordinate resources.
• Develop study startup/management strategies and vendor selections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for country-level feasibility and activation plans.
• Monitor study budgets, vendor invoices, and cost variance; ensure forecast accuracy.
• Support investigator meetings, training, and protocol recruitment planning.
• Lead study startup and monitoring functions per SOPs and quality standards.
• Provide data flow alignment with data management and analytics teams.
