Job summary

University of Oklahoma is seeking a Study Abroad Advisor to guide students in pursuing global learning opportunities. This role supports students from program exploration to pre-departure preparation and fosters partnerships with campus and international partners for expanded global engagement.

The advisor will lead programming, outreach, and collaboration across university offices, contributing to intercultural learning initiatives and student success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and some college.
• At least 18 months of office supervision/management or student services experience.
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise students through the study abroad journey.
• Build partnerships with campus stakeholders and international institutions.
• Promote study abroad opportunities across campus.
• Develop and deliver student programming including pre-departure.
• Coordinate with university offices on records, financial aid, and visas.
